Malt and Rye is a Scottish acoustic guitar and double-bass duo returning to Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2025 for their seventh year. Playing at Partially Seated, they perform classic blues and roots songs spanning the last 100 years, including Hoochie Coochie Man and San Francisco Bay Blues, alongside material by Robert Johnson, Willie Dixon, Lowell Fulson, Jimmy Rogers and Memphis Slim. The set also includes more recent blues masters such as Eric Clapton and Martin Harley. The hour-long set is delivered with the duo's distinctive passion and humour. Suitable for ages 8 and over.
