Edinburgh Photographic Society's first international photography exhibition was shown in 1861. This is the 161st running of this prestigious international print exhibition. A panel of invited judges select around 160 of the best photos from thousands entered. Entry is open from March until June. We have two categories: Mono and Colour, with up to four entries in each. Any genre is eligible. Images must originate as captures by light and the copyright owned by the submitting photographer. A printed A4 colour catalogue is included in the entry fee. Entry includes another two exhibitions.

About the show

Edinburgh Photographic Society has been running its international photography exhibition since 1861. The current edition is the one hundred and sixty-first running of this prestigious print exhibition, held at the Gracie Alison Exhibition Hall. A panel of invited judges selects around 160 of the best photos from thousands of entries, across Mono and Colour categories. Any photographic genre is eligible, provided images originate as captures by light and the copyright is held by the submitting photographer. Entry includes a printed colour catalogue and access to another two exhibitions. Some photographs may contain art nude content.
